The Captain is required to safely operate Offshore Supply Boats in inshore waters and also in the Gulf of Mexico. The Captain is responsible for vessel handling in constantly changing conditions while in support of offshore oil and gas activities. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the vessel as well as the training and evaluation of shipboard personnel. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Masters License to navigate in specified waters.


 

MATE

 The Mate is required to safely operate Offshore Supply Boats in inshore waters and also in the Gulf of Mexico. The Mate is responsible for the direct supervision of the vessel crew, safety, deck activities and command of the vessel as directed by the Captain. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Mate's License.

 

 CHIEF ENGINEER


 Above 4000 H.P.


 The Chief Engineer plans, supervises and completes routine and emergency maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery at the dock and underway. The Chief Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transfer and discharge of bulk cargo, fuel and water. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Engineer's License.

 

 ENGINEER


 4000 H.P. DDE


 The Engineer plans, supervises and completes routine and emergency maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery at the dock and underway. The Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transfer and discharge of bulk cargo, fuel and water. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Engineer's License.

 

 UNLICENSED ENGINEER


 The Unlicensed Engineer will help supervise and complete routine and emergency maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery at the dock and underway. The Unlicensed Engineer will help in the safe and efficient loading, transfer and discharge of bulk cargo, fuel and water. All applicants must possess a minimum of a current U.S. Coast Guard Ordinary Seaman's Card.

 

 OILER


 The Oiler will identify maintenance and repair items, maintain engineering supplies and spares. Load and discharge bulk liquids safely and efficiently without spills. Load and discharge dry bulk safely and efficiently. Test, monitor and troubleshoot equipment to make sure all systems are opperating properly. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Ordinary Seaman's Card.

 

 ABLE BODIED SEAMAN


 The Able Bodied Seaman will perform a variety of duties to preserve painted surfaces of the vessel, maintain lines, running gear, and cargo handling gear in a safe operating condition. The Able Bodied Seaman will also handle lines to moor vessel, clean decks, chip, clean and paint rust spots, lubricate machinery and equipment, splice and repair cables and rope, load and unload cargo, equipment, and supplies, and will also stand watch from bow or wing of bridge. All applicants must possess a current U.S. Coast Guard Able Bodied Seaman's Card.

 

 ORDINARY SEAMAN


 The Ordinary Seaman will perform a variety of duties to preserve painted surfaces of the vessel, maintain lines, running gear, and cargo handling in a safe operating condition.  COOK


 The Cook will provide three meals a day taking advantage of seasonal foods and produce and in such quanity for the amount of personnel on board. The Cook will also bake breads and pastries, order foods and supplies for the galley, keep galley and quarters clean and sanitary and direct other personnel working in galley.
